
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your booking and travel with Rimas Tours AL. They are written in plain language and are designed to be fair to both parties. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Booking & Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once we receive a 30% deposit and have sent you a written confirmation. The remaining balance is due 21 days before your arrival date.
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Payment can be made by international bank transfer or major credit card.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is structured to be fair while reflecting commitments we make to suppliers on your behalf:
- More than 60 days before arrival: full refund minus an administrative fee
- 60 to 21 days before arrival: deposit forfeited, balance refundable
- Less than 21 days before arrival: non-refundable
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations
3. Changes to Your Itinerary
Minor changes (e.g. swapping a meal venue, adjusting the order of activities) can typically be made at no charge with reasonable notice. Major changes (different cities, additional days, accommodation upgrades) may incur additional fees, which we will quote transparently.
We reserve the right to make minor itinerary adjustments necessitated by weather, road conditions, or other operational factors, always preserving the spirit and value of your booking.
4. Traveller Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid passports and any required visas; for arranging adequate travel insurance; and for arriving at agreed pickup times.
We will provide guidance on visa requirements and recommended insurance options on request.
5. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, government action, conflict, or major public health events. In such cases, we will work in good faith to reschedule or refund where possible.
6. Liability
Rimas Tours AL holds full operating licenses and insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of your booking, except where law requires otherwise. We act as a coordinator for accommodation, transport, and experience providers, who are independent businesses with their own terms.
7. Complaints & Disputes
If anything is not right during your trip, please tell your guide or our office immediately so we can fix it. Issues raised during travel are far easier to resolve than those raised after.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 28 days of return. We commit to a substantive response within 14 days.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes arising will be addressed first by good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, by the competent courts of Tirana.
